Our bed and breakfast is located in Kirkbean, a quiet little village on Solway coast, where amazing sights and walks await you.
The house is a converted barn, surrounded by a lovely garden; a burn (stream of water) flows by the side of the property. We have two bedrooms available: the “forest bedroom” and the “sunny bedroom”. Services include: shared bathroom (shower, no bath), Wi-Fi (fibre), no TV. Breakfast is vegetarian or vegan, and as much as possible from local ingredients. Simple vegetarian evening meals are possible if requested in advance.
If you are interested or just have any questions, please contact us.
We also run personal retreats (click for more information).
Kirkbean is one mile away from the small seaside village, with its famous Steamboat Inn. John Paul Jones’ cottage is one mile away. Coastal walks, access to towns (on bus route between Dumfries and Dalbeattie), countryside, golf courses, forest walks, good cycling country, nature reserve (birds), near Sweetheart Abbey and Loch Arthur.
